I was actually able to take more pictures of her this morning! She is an "extreme" - extremely active and extremely loving - she is just SO much fun to live with and watch! Just one problem - the other three cats now ignore her when she plays with their tails and that REALLY ruins her fun! She definitely would rather have them react. Oh, and the sounds that she can make! She has SO many different cries and noises - it's just so fascinating! There has to be AT LEAST a dozen different ones! Absolutely a joy to have around the house.

Liam does NOT like the cold, so Santa Cat brought him a new sweater for Christmas. Right now he's wearing it and is curled up under a pile of warm laundry fresh from the dryer. He hates to be cold and one of his favorite places to be is under a blanket leaning on Mommy.

He's doing great. He is my constant companion and is so, so good with the baby. She's about 7 months now and is already creeping around. I quit my job to be home with her, and since Liam is always by my side, he therefore is always near the baby, and she really loves him. She loves to grab at his tail or his skinny legs, and he is so good about letting her pull on him or grab a chunk of him. Everyone who comes to visit remarks about how good he is with her. The other two cats pretty much avoid the baby, but he can often be found on the floor with her. Every night when I get up to feed her, he too will crawl out from under the blanket and sit at my feet on the ottoman. When we are done, he comes back to bed (except this time usually spends the rest of the night smack in the middle of my pillow).

Best wishes to you and yours and again, thank you thank you thank you for our wonderful little lovebug. He's so affectionate I often joke with Kyle that he's probably an F14, not an F4 :)

Sheryl!
Happy new year! Just a quick update on your boy. He is a whooping 15.2 lbs.!! He is sooo beautiful. Loves to play in the fountain and eat lizards. He jumped almost 8ft to the top of the pool cage after a lizard the other day! We love him to death. He is so Sweet in the morning and at night all he wants to do is be petted. He is still not much for being held. He tolerates it for about 20 sec at a time. We will continue to send pics as he grows up. Thanks for putting his pics on the website!

Thanks again, Happy New year!!

Dear Sheryl:
All is great. I'm following your advice and keeping him separated from the other pets. (We're watching James Bond films from the '60's.) He's very active and is gaining weight.(3 lbs. on arrival. 3.6 lbs. at vet yesterday. A-Ok at vet. Everyone is amazed at how beautiful he is.)

I decided to name him Tom Terrific; tommy for short. Tom Terrific was a cartoon familiar only to the 55 to 60 year old crowd.(My group.)

I am thrilled with my cat and very pleased with you, your cattery and all aspects of this transaction.

Sincerely,

Hi Sheryl,

The girls are doing great.  Actually they have been really growing like weeds the last couple of weeks sorta like a big growth spurt all at once.  Ice is an incredible lovey cat, loves to be held and petted actually not really like a cat, she really acts more like a dog.  She is getting used to Blue the dog still has not made her mind up on if she likes her.  Ice goes with me in the car when I go to visit my parents or to the pet store she loves her harness and actually loves the car..again like a dog.  Now Latte on the other hand is a total cat, she comes to you on her terms and when she is done with you she lets you know.. she still likes to cuddle but nothing like Ice.  They did great at the Vets everyone wanted to keep them and they are always together and after they realized Auburn was not Mommy Cat but just another older female cat they now all sleep together..had a bit of a hissy when they went for milk and she kind of freaked out but all is well.  Bebe Blue tolerates them she just stays away from them, they are still learning that she is not a big toy cat that they can pounce on she is just a bit bigger than they are!!  Ice and Latte keep breaking their mice and I keep returning them to Petsmart and Petsmart keeps saying those must be some really active kittens and they are.. they destroy the paper mice that have cat nip in them and the electric mouse that eeks gets put in the water bowl and stops working and they get so mad, you would think they would learn.  It will be interesting how they handle Christmas tree as when the other girls were kittens we had mass destruction of the ornaments on the tree and I am thinking Ice will be the one to knock them off she loves to play and when she has wild kitty time you better watch out cause she is a mess, runs from room to room like she is on speed the rest of the animals just look at her like she is crazy...oh and she chases her tail just like a dog.

Hi Sheryl,

I just wanted to send you a brief note on Tessa.  She is an absolute darling!  Everyone who comes to the house is amazed with her and her dog-like antics!  I had a photographer come yesterday to take "holiday" pictures of her and her sister Ysabella (my Rottie), and they were posing away!  Tessa is a true lap cat, plus she sleeps like a person-- body under the covers & head poking out and resting on my arm :-) .  She's also a little thief-- she will take anything off of a counter or out of my purse and either hide it or shred it!  She also loves to knock stuff off of my fork or out of my hands when I eat!  I weighed her last week, and she was 10 1/2 lbs already!  I promise to send pictures once I get them back from the photographer!

Hope you are doing well!

Sandy 11/07

Hi Sheryl,

I just have to thank you again for Tessa!  She is just the cutest kitten out there!  So well socialized!  Ysabella had to go to the groomer, and this is a groomer who raises Rotties, and this woman just went nuts over Tessa!  Even her employee, who isn’t a “Cat-person” got a kick out of her!  Then, while Ysabella was getting groomed, I took Tessa to my personal trainer, and again, everyone went nuts over her!  She and Ysabella are getting along well.  I’m slowly introducing them in ˝ hour to 1 hr intervals.  Ysabella adores her, but only wants to be “touched” by Tessa on her terms.  She does a little warning rumble—not a growl, but a rumble, and Tessa knows.  Funny how these guys understand each other.  They are both so intrigued with each other!  Tessa knows to not walk across her, but at the same time, when they play, Ysabella chases her around the house, and then Tessa will sneak up on her and attack her leg, and that’s ok J.  Right now, Tessa is on the table watching me type, attacking my hands, and Ysabella is on the floor beneath us.  In time, they truly will be best buds!

 Enjoy your weekend!

PS:  She is getting so big!  I can’t believe how fast she is growing!

Sheryl,

Dash is doing fabulous. He's hysterical and the most loveable cat I've ever known! Puma and him love each other so much. Within the first 5 minutes of their orientation, they were playing! Within 1 full day being together, they were sleeping with one another! We are so happy for Puma and glad we decided to get her a friend. She is a completely different cat. She is much calmer and has taken on this motherly role and watches out for Dash. If he cries in another room she will run to find him, walk up to him and bathe him, etc. She doesn't demand our attention as much anymore since she has a new best friend. Puma still has to hiss at him every now and then because he doesn't know when to stop playing :)

Dash has an obsession with water. He knocks over our glasses so he can play with water! It's hard to be mad at him when it's just too funny and cute. He wakes me up in the middle of the night or morning purring and cuddling so close he tickles my face with his whiskers. You were completely right when saying he’s the most lovable and friendly cat. Dash wants to be involved with everything we do so he can be with us.

Thanks again for raising such an amazing cat. He’s really brought us so much joy to our lives, but more importantly, Puma is happier than we are!

Best,

Hi Sheryl,

We just wanted to give you an update on Dash. He is absolutely adorable! After I got off the phone with you on Tuesday I went in to visit him and he ran up to me and was purring and kneading. Bryce and I couldn't get over how friendly he was just within the first visit we had with him after the long plane ride he went through. I have never seen such a lovable kitten before. He has unconditional love for anyone that walks into the room. Now when I walk into his room, I won't know where he is as we have made private nooks for him, but I just follow the sound of his purring or he'll run right out to greet us.

I got the package today, thank you. I'm going to send you some pictures and videos tonight.

Thanks for raising such an incredible cat! We couldn't ask for more from him.

Logan is the biggest love bug ever! He's shameless about cuddling up to me when I'm watching TV or even when I'm on my computer. He has to have his "Logan time" when he climbs on me and insists that I cradle him like a baby. Then it's all purring and leaning back like he's in a spa. He gives Troy a run for his money too. They love to play together. He's huge too. He's about as long as Troy but easily half again Troy's weight. And his markings are more pronounced than I've seen in any photos of seal lynx snows. All my friends fall in love with him when they see him. Thanks again for everything.

Frodo is growing up so fast and is so much fun!  He is only a little over 8 months, but he is the same size as my 6 year old tabby!

He was playing in the bathroom with me this morning.  He was slapping the stream of water in the sink with great exuberance, oblivious to the fact that as he leaned forward to slap the water it was pouring down over his head between his ears!  One of his favorite toys is a bowl full of water with some ice cubes in it.  Shawn will put him out on the screened in patio with the bowl and he will bat the cubes and splash water everywhere!  ;o)

In order for him to get a good stretch, he stands up on his hind legs and walks his front paws up the wall.  To my amazement he is big enough to grab onto the doorknob now, but not quite big enough to turn on the light.  I wished I had my camera at that moment, as his coat was shining with all these rich and amazing colors.  He is gorgeous!

I can’t begin to tell you how much I’ve fallen in love with Victory since I’ve gotten her 2 weeks ago! Nor can I count how many times a day she makes me laugh out loud because of her funny personality! I catch myself spending lots of time watching her. Victory adopted my German Shepherd almost immediately and they have been playing for several days now. She is almost like a puppy because she follows me from room to room! I’m so happy I bought her- It’s the best to come home from work and she is mischievously there to great me! Thank You so much!

Sheryl,
Made it home just fine and our boy has used his litter box and had some food and water tonight so we're off to a great start.  He is an absolute lover boy  - non-stop purrs, head-butts and body rubs!!! Thought you might enjoy these pics... busy thinking about a special name for such a special boy!

Sheryl,
He is wonderful - completely relaxed and settled and follows me round like a puppy! If I'm sitting down he's in my lap! Loves to sleep with me curled up next to me with his head on the pillow took him to the vet to get him started with our care and he weighed 6.1 lbs! The vet said that little lump I mentioned to you was due to the rabies shot so no surprise there. He eats a lot and already looks a little bigger to me. He seems fearless and curious about everything. But no matter where he goes or what he does, he always comes back every few minutes for purrs and body rubs. He likes to touch noses and is very gentle with his claws when he plays. He is faster than my other cats, more fearless and more wanting of cuddles. So he's perfect! Will send you some cute pics from the laptop! Are all Bengals this affectionate?

The other night I was busy on my computer at home and he began scratching at the balcony door to be let out.  I only let him out on the balcony when I am out there with him so I lowered my voice and said, "No!"  This normally works.  After several more attempts, I scolded him more forcefully.  He went onto my dresser and tossed several coins from my spare change tray onto the floor.  So I scolded him with a forceful "NO!" and slammed a pillow on the floor for emphasis.  He trotted off and I ignored him.  A little while later I hear this sliding sound, and at first I ignored it, but then saw that he had dragged his bed out from under my bed and was struggling to take it out into the hallway.  I noticed that he had his coiled "slinky rat" toy and a paper ball that we play "fetch" with in the bed.  The first thing I thought to say was, "Oh I see you're moving out?  Well, goodbye!"  It was so cute.  It was like something a child would do when he's mad at his parents.  He slept out in the hallway that night, but the next day he decided to move the bed into my bathroom.  I guess he wanted to "come home" and make up.  He is just amazing.

Sheryl,

Puma is doing wonderful she has brought so much laughter, joy and happiness into our lives; what a personality!

We wanted to write to express our thanks to you for doing such a great job as a breeder. All those visits we made before picking her up played a key part in our decision process and we believe plays a role in her friendly social persona today.

We have made play time a large part of Puma's life - she loves to play and run. I have tried my best to play the part of another Bengal, and play hide and go seek, run from & chase her and oh yeah she fetches too! We travel with her some of the time to my mother's house where she loves the wide-open space. She loves being high-up as well. She actually jumps onto the top railings of our bed frame and shows off in a tight rope act above us, only to jump down onto the bed, toy in mouth. Puma greets all our guests. She follows us everywhere and is curious with everything from how we brush our teeth to how we open a package or get dressed. She dozes off in our arms & laps and sleeps with us every single night, sometimes under the covers. Some of the time she sleeps on her back inviting tummy rubs.

Thanks for your contribution to it all, and for giving us the foundation necessary to bring her into our lives.  Keep us informed, as we will you. All best to you and your family.

Warm Regards,

-Bryce & Jill- owned by Puma, F6 Bengal

He's gotten quite big, he can now jump OVER tables, beds, recliners, etc.

"Busy" isn't the word...lol.  His favorite game is "fetch", with whatever he's playing with at the time - just throw it, and he flies, brings it back at a brisk little trot - it's SO funny to watch him - but if you don't pay attention right after he brings it back - WATCH OUT, somebody's toes are going to get "noticed" :o)

He's a joy - we both love him to death.  His coat is just perfect, smooth and soft, and it looks amazing with the silver and his markings, just beautiful!

Hi,

She is doing great I cannot believe how loving she is.. She actually loves to be with people and she does not care who those people are... Dad really likes her because she is so active, she likes to help him with the jobs he does around my house.. she steals his tools.. and loves to watch his Judge shows with him.  I believe she may even grow into her ears and tail!  She eats all the time and she sure burns her calories by chasing the other cats (they tend to hide from her because she has way too much energy for them) they do all sleep together which is cute.  She does not like the dog and the dog is afraid of her so they just stay out of each others way it is actually funny 3 pound cat against a 60 pound dog and the cat wins dog runs and hides.  Now all I have to do is convince her that it is better to sit in my lap than my shoulder, I think in a past life she was a bird, she is either on my shoulder or my head.

He has exceeded all my expectations.  The bigger he gets, the more clearly defined his markings become, and with his square muzzle and bright golden eyes, he really looks like the pictures I have seen of Asian Leopard Cats.  His behavior is exactly as the books describe Bengals to be.  He learned to fetch a paper ball all on his own, and it's his favorite game.  He jumps into the shower with me, and I have to watch out not to step on him because he likes to be right under the running water with me.  He loves to climb, sometimes onto my shoulder when I am typing at my computer or watching television, and I am starting to teach him to wear a leash harness, although I admit I have little occasion to "walk" him since I don't want him to want to go outside.  He is very vocal, and his voice is beautiful and musical, and my friends say he sounds halfway between a kitten and a puppy.  He's also big.  At five months he is as big as my friend's full grown Cornish Rex.  Best of all is his personality.  He's extremely active and interactive.  He is the perfect little companion, without being overly needy, but always there to keep me company.  As much as I love my other cat, I am now hooked on the Bengal breed, and I think all of my cats from now on will be Bengals.  Thank you.

Hi,
We are all doing well here. Amber is almost a full grown girl, I can hardly believe
it! The other day she went to the dry cleaner with me in her new bag. Was such a
good girl, and Frank, the dry cleaner owner, just loved her. He was tickled that I
brought her in with me and was impressed that she wore a harness like a dog would.

Hi,
Just wanted to let you know we made it home with no problems. Grace and Spotty
curled up and went to sleep right away. Little tyke sat up and yelled at me through
the cage door for a good half hour...he wanted out! Then he finally fell asleep for the
rest of the ride.
I set them up in the guest bathroom that I turned into a kitten playground and of
course Grace was the first one out and she immediately grabbed a toy and started
purring! Then the other two wandered out of the carrier and within five minutes they
were running around like crazy cats playing with the toys and climbing the post and
jumping from the carrier to the toilet seat into the tub and back out.
My cats laid on the floor out side the bathroom the whole time I was in with the
kittens and they did peep at each other under the door, but no significant reaction.
Just curiosity so far.
They played pretty hard for a couple hours and then all three crawled back into
the carrier in the bed and fell asleep. I left them alone but I'm checking on them
every hour. We'll probably have one or two more play sessions before I go to sleep.
I think they are doing great, much more relaxed than I expected.
I'll send some photos tomorrow. Thanks for raising such good babies!

For some reason, Tigger puts on a real show when he get up on our bed - back arched, hair on end, and jumping around sideways - at first I thought he was afraid of something, but he doesn't show any other indications of that - perhaps its a territorial thing.  Actually, its pretty funny.  I tried to get some pictures to show you, but he moves much faster than my camera can function - so I've sent a few so-so shots, none of which really show the behavior I described.  Anyway, we are really enjoying him (and vice-versa).  He's eating a lot and drinking a lot.  I believe he weighed 2 lb., 2 oz. at the vet's the other day.  Now he weighs 2 lb., 9 3/8 oz.  We have another vet's appointment next Thursday.    Allen

Thank you so much for all the time you spent with me last night. I feel bad dropping in on you like that. I was not sure I was going to get her until I saw your home and the quality of the pets you have and I knew I would get one even before I saw her.  So rest assured she will be pampered and loved. I will try to send you pics weekly of her. Thanks again and will email again tonight with some pics.
